Established in 1998, Savance started with the idea that technology could be used effectively to save businesses time and money and make our lives easier. 20+ years later, we continue to advance and grow, every day.
In 2000, while being forced to use another company’s badly devised electronic in out board solution, we became motivated to write our own status board software. We had designed software for the business world since day one, so it was frustrating to use a software that could not be accessed remotely, made it hard to change your status, did not have any searching capabilities, was far from scalable, and went down frequently. We wanted to build an electronic in out board with a better overall design that could be updated from anywhere and was much more user friendly. Out of this desire, Savance EIOBoard was born.
Since EIOBoard was first born in 2000, we have acquired several thousands of users in basically every possible industry, including military, educational and healthcare institutions, governmental organizations, churches and non-profits, retirement communities, manufacturing facilities, and many more.
As a company that prides itself on responding positively to our clients and tailoring our solutions to their needs, EIOBoard soon grew from a basic Electronic In Out Board into solutions for Visitor Management, Emergency Mustering, Health Screening, and more. In 2009, we also spun off a line of solutions specifically catered to the healthcare industry, Savance Health, in order to meet this industry’s need for HIPAA-compliant solutions to improve efficiency and workflow.
Since EIOBoard grew from a standalone Electronic In Out Board to a full line of electronic status solutions, we decided that a name change was appropriate. Enter Savance Workplace, a line of customizable and easy-to-use solutions that were created to solve real business problems, in any industry and workplace. EIOBoard remains as our feature-rich and easy-to-use Electronic In Out Board, and is still a very crucial part of countless businesses and organizations in North America and around the world.

To get an idea of how we normally work with customers —from first contact to product implementation and beyond— here is a simplified version of our general process.
We meet with you through a web-based consultation/free demo session, where we present our solutions, as well as make sure we know exactly what your organization needs, and any problems you are looking to solve.
The design process includes anything from modifying the look of a solution to fit your branding, to designing the look and layout of a fully custom solution, to coming up with a complete solution strategy and layout for a multi-location business.
Once any custom designs, plans, and layouts have been approved by you, our engineers step in and do their magic, turning these designs, plans, and layouts into fully functional solutions for your organization.
As part of the implementation phase, we provide end-user training to make sure you can confidently operate your Savance system on your own. Following training, you will be transitioned to the Support team, with the knowledge that we're always there to help when you need us.
