Cryptographic Desktop/Outlook Add In Error Fix

Clear Cache

  1. Open your Desktop/Outlook Add in and click ‘Settings’
  2. Click ‘Delete Cache’ (This will only be clickable if ‘Enable Cache’ is enabled
  3. Restart your Desktop/Outlook Add in

Clear AppData Folder

  1. Open File Explorer
  2. Enter ‘C:\Users\*YOURPCUSERNAME*\AppData\Local\’ in the top bar
  3. Delete any folders labeled ‘Savance’ or ‘Savance LLC’
  4. Restart your Desktop/Outlook Add in

 

Error: System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException: Key not valid for use in specified state.
