How to Find Your Various Savance Workplace Versions

Savance Workplace has an entire suite of software for your everyday usage, whether it be for employee management, visitor sign-in, emergency mustering, or more. One of the best ways to ensure that your software is running up to par is to make sure that you have the latest version possible. When looking for support on your issues, providing us with your software version is incredibly helpful with further diagnosing potential causes and fixes.

What version can I run as a cloud user?

If you are a cloud user, you can always run the absolute latest release version of all of our software.

To get the latest installers for our software, visit our downloads page and click DOWNLOAD CURRENT VERSION.

What version can I run as an on-premise user?

If your server is hosted on your company’s premises, you can only run up to whatever version your Savance Workplace Server is currently. For example, if your Savance Workplace Server is version 11.0.17, then you’ll only be able to run software up to the same version 11.0.17. In order to determine your on-premise server version, you will have to ask your Savance Admin or anyone else with administrative permissions in your Savance Workplace system. They can go to the admin panel in the browser interface and navigate to Registration & Licensing, where they’ll see the database and web version at the bottom.

To get the latest installers for our software for your current on-premise server version, visit our releases page and click on the matching version. If you don’t see your version number listed, you can always append the version number to the end of the URL, for example: https://downloads.savanceworkplace.com/Releases/11.0.17/

Desktop
  1. Open the More menu.
  2. Click on About.
  3. Check under Version for the Desktop version.

 

Outlook
  1. Go to the EIOBoard tab.
  2. Open the More menu.
  3. Click on About.
  4. Check under Version for the Outlook version.

 

Kiosk
  1. Sign into the Kiosk using the Admin PIN.
  2. Check next to Version for the Kiosk version.

Mustering
  1. Check the bottom-right corner on any menu for the Mustering version.

Punch
  1. Open the Help menu.
  2. Click on About.
  3. Check next to Version for the Punch version.
    Or, if version is bugged and doesn’t show:
  4. Click Copy System Info.
  5. Open a text editor like Notepad.
  6. Paste the text into Notepad.
  7. Press Ctrl + F to search for ProductVersion.

 

If you’ve gotten your Savance Workplace mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, it should automatically update to the latest version. Just in case, though, it’s always a good idea to provide your current app’s version when reporting issues or errors you have with the Savance Workplace mobile app. If your app is ever out of date for whatever reason, that can often be one of the simplest fixes!

iPhone
  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Go to the General tab.
  3. Go to the iPhone Storage tab.
  4. Scroll down until you find the Savance app.
  5. Check under Savance for the iPhone version.

Android
  1. Open the Savance app.
  2. Open the Side Menu.
  3. Go to the About tab.
  4. Check under Savance Workplace for Android for the Android version.

On the Home Page, open the Side MenuGo to the "About" tab in the Side MenuThe app version will be right below "Savance Workplace for Android"
