Ignoring Future Status Updates

As Administrator, you have the ability to ignore future status updates for users.

This can come in handy if a user is out sick or on vacation, and they have future statuses in place for Meetings, Lunch, etc.

When this option is enabled, it will prevent users from updating their statuses until the scheduled return time has expired.

Once the return time on a status has elapsed, their ability to set a new status will return.

NOTE: This will affect all statuses in the system.

For example, if a user goes on a 15 minute break, they will not be able to change their status until the

15 minutes have expired.

To enable this feature:

  • Open the EIOBoard application.
  • Select the Administrator Icon.

  • From here, Select the “Company Settings” Tab at the top of the window.

  • Scroll through the list and select “Ignore Automatic Future Updates Until Return Time Expires”.
