Minimum Requirements: What are the Client System Requirements for Badge Printing?

Version 10

The latest release requires Windows 7; C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64), and .NET Framework 4.7.2. The Application installer will automatically download any prerequisites and install them (which may require a reboot).

Our Badge Printing on the EIOBoard desktop application is dynamic enough to reference any stored user data in EIOBoard. The application requires at least one USB port 2.0 and the required Windows Printer Driver to allow communication between the Badge Printer and the client computer performing the physical print.

All interfaces communicate through the EIOBoard Website, so the client must be able to access the website through an internet or intranet connection.

It is highly recommended to use the Windows 10 operating system with the most current updates and newest versions available due to limitations and end of life support for client operating systems like Windows 7. As for hardware requirements, if your client is powerful enough to run a Windows 7 operating system, it is powerful enough to run any of the EIOBoard client applications.  To be more specific, here are some suggested minimum requirements and recommendations:
