The Savance Workplace Mobile App Version 13.0+ requires Workplace Server Version 12.0.12 or higher. We also require HTTPS communication to use our new Mobile app. Any servers using HTTP (Port 80/801) bindings will not be able to communicate with our app
If you are not running a compatible version of the Workplace Server, you may receive one of the following error messages in the Savance Workplace Mobile App:
- Connection Failed: Your on-premise instance is running an older version of Savance Workplace.
- Unsupported Version: Sorry, your on-premise server is running version which is unknown and does not support this version of the app.
If you receive an error message, you’ll need to implement one of the following options:

SQL 2017 Extra Configuration Steps
For any system using SQL 2017 you must update a server file to support the new mobile app. Under C:\Program Files (x86)\Savance\Savance Workplace Server\SW.API, you must update your appsettings.json file. Update the TimeZoneId with your TZ formatted identifier. Please make sure to save changes
LDAP Login Support Steps
For any site using LDAP/Active Directory for Logins, they must update their appsetting.json on their On-Premises server at C:\Program Files (x86)\Savance\Savance Workplace Server\SW.API with their LDAP settings
Enable: Set to True
Server: Your LDAP Server IP or URL
Domain: Your AD Domain
Port: 389 or 636 (for SSL)
UseSSL: Enable if using SSL
OnlyAllowADUsers: Enable if you only allow AD logins
AuthType: Match with your SW Server Auth Type
Commonly these settings can be found on your Savance Workplace Server console

If your organization is not ready to upgrade the server version, you can install a previous version of the Savance Mobile App that supports your server version.
