Sometimes Customer-Hosted EIOBoard users are unable to send text messages to cell phones, even though their mail settings on their server are correct. Please make sure that you have a SMTP username and password keyed into the settings screen. Cell phone carriers do not usually allow anonymous messages, so it should be required.
Please follow the below steps to access the SMTP settings:
- Access the Savance Workplace Server interface and navigate to Management -> Settings
- In the Email tab under General settings, configure the SMTP server details.
