Users are missing or not imported with AD Sync

This article describes an issue where users are not imported using the Savance Workplace AD Sync (Active Directory Sync) tool from the Savance Workplace Server Admin on your Savance Workplace server or they are missing from the template and cannot be selected. This can happen if the user does not have a user login name specified in AD.

To verify this,

  1. Go into Active Directory Users and Computers.
  2. Then go to the Properties of one of the users that is not appearing or importing with the Savance Workplace AD Sync tool.
  3. Next go to the “Account” tab on the user properties and make sure the correct “User login name” is specified.
  4. If the user login name was not there, enter their username and apply the change.
  5. Then go back to the Savance Workplace AD Sync and you should be able to import them.
