Expiring visitor name tags are innovative, time-sensitive labels designed to enhance security by visually indicating when a visitor’s access has expired. These badges change color, display a clear “STOP” message, or exhibit other visual cues after a set period, typically after 24 hours. This ensures that expired badges are easily identifiable to reduce the risk of unauthorized access.
When printed, this visitor badge includes a tab on the side labeled “FOLD UNDER.” To activate the expiration process, visitors can simply fold the tab as instructed. Over 24 hours, the tab will gradually change color and display a clear “VOID” warning on the folded side of the badge surface.
