Control Access Directly Through Kiosk
The first way that Savance Workplace integrates with access control is by controlling a door directly through the access control system. Visitors sign in through the kiosk – Their registration is approved – The door opens.
Control Access Through Relay Module
The second way to integrate Savance Visitor Management with access control is by use of a PoE Relay Module. When paired with a self-service visitor kiosk, the relay module will control access through a turnstile, lift gate, or door, granting access upon successful visitor registration or security screening.
Print & Activate Generic or Custom Badges
A third way in which Visitor Management works with access control is by activating a generic badge or printing and activating a custom badge upon successful registration. This badge will then work with access control readers, and is used for access based on specific security group and time settings.
Generate QR Code-Based Credentials
With QR code-based access control integration, the Savance Workplace system will generate a mobile or printed QR code, which will then be used to grant access to appropriate areas during the visitor’s stay. In a typical application, a visitor will arrive onsite and complete check-in. At this point, a mobile or printed credential is automatically issued, and the visitor is granted access based on pre-set access levels. Once they check out, their access will automatically expire.
Track the visitor and contractor every time they use their badge, barcode, or face (if using facial recognition). Each time they are picked up by the access control system, this can be monitored.
